About the Project

Gatorade teamed up with PrizeLogic to produce a instant win sweepstakes. The goal was to increase sales of Gatorade’s products. Upon uploading a receipt showing the purchase of a Gatorade product, users could play an instant win game featuring prizes such as Gatorade and Fanatics gift cards, as well as a 3-month subscription to Pandora Premium. Users could also tour various athletes’ “locker rooms,” which featured personal items along with descriptions of how those items relate to the athlete.

PrizeLogic asked me to design a responsive site for the promotion, as well as matching emails and a Facebook share image. We outsourced the animation of a 3D locker with Gatorade products spilling out of it for the instant win reveal. For the athlete’s lockers, I was given separate empty lockers for each athlete, and I had to source miscellaneous images to fill the lockers based on a list provided by Gatorade. When users clicked on the various objects in each locker, a description of those objects popped up.

I designed the site in Photoshop and then handed off the design files and animation instructions to our developers, who coded the site.
